As hands on or hands off as the project needs
We can commission the plant with your team, or independently verify the completed work.
Hands on, we set bypass valves and pump speeds, balance the chilled water system and the chillers, and work with the automation contractor to set up staging across multiple chillers.
If a control panel or control sequence is not working as required, we work with the controls contractor to correct it.
Hands off, we verify that the chillers and chilled water system are balanced, controlled and operating as designed. We document the results.
If the sequence of operations does not work correctly, we develop a revised sequence.
If the plant matches the drawings and specifications but still does not operate correctly, we document that too. We identify the problem and propose changes to the control strategy.
Commissioning is complete when the chilled water plant works under the conditions it was designed for.
At handover, your client gets an operating plant and a written record showing what was tested and verified.

How commissioning works

A new plant that could not pass its air test
See how we brought a new industrial chilled water plant in Denmark through commissioning and handover after it could not pass its under 4 percent air requirement, with a permanent air separator keeping it there.
Independent chilled water commissioning
We can commission the plant with your team or independently verify the completed work. We document the results and report them to you. Your customer stays your customer, and you decide what happens next.
